TURKS TO INCREASE DEFENCE COSTS
VOTE OF £2,500,000 FOR EMERGENCY STEPS ISTANBUL, April 15. The Turkish Government is asking the Assembly to vote £2,500,000 to finance emergency armaments. The Assembly voted £425,000 to enable the advanced recruitment of certain classes of conscripts.
