FORMER PUPILS OF SOUTH SCHOOL

DECISION TO FORM AN ASSOCIATION

A decision to form an association was made at a meeting of former pupils of the South School last evening. The association will be known as the South School Ex-Pupils’ Association. Mr E. W. Wright was chairman at the meeting and there was a big and enthusiastic attendance of former pupils of the school. The decision to form an association was the result of the bringing together of the former pupils at the school’s recent successful jubilee celebrations. The proposal received excellent support and the enthusiasm shown augurs well for the future of the association. Another meeting will be held on May 8 to elect officers and adopt rules for the association. Arrangements are to be made at this meeting for a winter social and former pupils are asked to attend and give their support to the new association.
