Green, Huron street, have returned from a motoring holiday spent in the Western District i , Mr and Mrs A. B. Caverhill. Ashton street, spent the Easter holidays at Beaumont, Central Otago, where they were the guests of Mr and Mrs Edgar. Mr and Mrs E. J. Crosbie, Albany street, have returned, from a holiday spent at Invercargill. . Mr and Mrs L. Cockerill, Ardwick street, spent the Easter holidays at Dunedin, „ Mr and Mrs R. W. McCreath, Devon street, accompanied by Miss Margaret Perrin, of Invercargill, have returned from a holiday at Alexandra. Mr and Mrs G. R. Martin, William street, have returned from a holiday at Riverton. Mrs W. Baker, who has been on an extended holiday in the North Island, has now returned to Gore and has taken up residence in Albany street. She has as her guest, Mrs W. Syme, of Hawera.
Mr and Mrs Noel Sandes, William street, and their daughter have returned from a holiday spent at Lawrence, where they were the guests of Miss Eva Hart.
Mrs K. Brown, of Christchurch, was the guest of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs C. H. Brittenden, Irk street, for the Easter holidays. Miss K. Kelly, Albany street, Was a visitor to Riverton during Easter. Mrs Russell Eadie, Broughton street, spent the Easter holidays at Stewart Island.
Mr and Mrs F. Wallis, Crewe street, are spending a holiday in Dunedin. Mrs F. S. Graham, Albany street, is spending a holiday at Mossburn and Balfour.
Mrs H. C. Mac Gibbon, Wolsley street, was hostess at a farewell party to Miss Molly Rogers, Irk street, recently. Among those present were Mesdames W. Kirk, D. Harvey, H. H. Doughty, J. E. Rogers, Miss Molly Rogers, Misses Kathleen Kirk, Joan Oswin and Blanche Gibbs. Prizes were won by Mrs J. E. Rogers and Miss Joan Oswin.
Miss Molly Rogers, Irk street, and her brother, Mr Roland Rogers, left on Tuesday morning’s express for Wellington, where they will connect with the Rangitata, on an extended tour abroad. They will be met in Wellington by Miss Logan, of Dunedin, who will accompany them op their trip. They expect to be away about . nine months.

Mrs R. G. Stokes, Irk street, was another hostess in honour of Miss Molly Rogers. Among those present were Mesdames J. M. Boyne, H. A. Price, J. E. Rogers, J. M. Watters, C. Tripp, Misses Molly Rogers, Fay McHutcheson, Blanche Gibbs, Kathleen Kirk, Betty Edwards, Messrs O. Howells and A. L. Dolamore. WYNDHAM Miss G. Hughes and Mr R. McKinlay, Dunedin, have been the guests of Mr and Mrs E. S. Macfarlane, Balaclava street. Mrs J. Johnstone, Albury, is the guest of her parents, Mr and Mrs F. W. J. Crosbie, Menzies Ferry. Mr and Mrs Ewart Henderson and their family, Oamaru, and Mr and Mrs A. Campbell, Owaka, were visitors of Mr and Mrs J. H. Henderson, Menzies Ferry, for Easter Mrs Bain, Miss M. Bain and Mr Taylor, Maori Hill, Dunedin, are the guests of Mrs W. J. Currie, Balaclava street. Mrs D. McKee, Invercargill, is visiting her parents, the Rev. G. D. Falconer and Mrs Falconer, The Manse. Mr and Mrs T. Forde, Cardigan road, spent the Easter holidays at Milton. < Mr and Mrs Husband and Mr Paul Bates, Timaru, were the guests of Mr and Mrs R. Crighton, Alma street, for the Easter holidays. Miss Jean Henderson, Menzies Ferry, is spending a short holiday at Oamaru as the guest of Mr and Mrs E. Henderson.
Mrs D. Todd and Miss Jean Young, Invercargill, were week-end visitors of Mr and Mrs J. Young. Mrs G. D. Falconer returned home on Wednesday from Invercargill, where she spent the Easter vacation with her mother, Mrs Wild, Dalrymple road. Miss Jean Taylor, Invercargill, and Mr Walter Stewart, Morton Mains, were the guests of Mrs J. S. Stewart for the week-end. Miss Joan Sewell, Dunedin, is the guest of Mrs A. Stewart, “Dunalton,” Wyndham. Mr and Mrs J. Mitchell, sen., Invercargill, were the guests of Mr and Mrs John Mitchell, Balaclava street, for the Easter holidays. Mr and Mrs E. Rice, Johannesburg, South Africa, who have been staying with Major and Mrs Stanley Rice, left Wyndham on Wednesday, en route for a tour of the world, including Suva, America, England and the Continent. ' Miss G. Godwin and Mrs Hill, of St. Clair, Dunedin, were the guests of Mr Frank Williams for the Easter vacation.
