W. L. CRAWFORD TO GO TO CHRISTCHURCH '

W. L. Crawford, the Old Boys and Southland Rugby forward, has received advice of his transfer to Christchurch. Crawford is one of the outstanding forwards playing in Southland. He is thought to have an excellent chance

of selection for the tour of South Africa by the All Blacks next season. He has represented Southland since 1934 and last year was a reserve forward in the South Island team. He will leave Invercargill in a fortnight.
