MR HODGENS ON WAY HOME
SYDNEY, April 15.
Mr J. Hodgens, the New Zealand member of Parliament, who has been recruiting tradesmen for work in New Zealand, is a passenger by the Awatea. He said he had engaged 453 tradesmen in Australia, most of whom are now in New Zealand. . He said he had received every possible courtesy from Government departments, union officials and others and that a difficult task had been made easy for him.
