MEMORIAL PLATE UNVEILED

PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH AT NORTH INVERCARGILL

A memorial plate erected by the congregation of North Invercargill Presbyterian Church in memory of the Rev. William Tanner, a former minister of the church, was unveiled at the evening service yesterday. The Rev. C. J. Tocker conducted the service and Mrs Tanner unveiled the plate and an enlarged photograph of Mr Tanner. Special hymns were sung and the choir sang the anthem “What are These?”
