Open Stake Held At Nightcaps . WIN FOR SOUVENIR The Nightcaps Coursing Club, held its open, stake in. fine weather on Saturday afternoon, nine dogs taking part in the coursing. There was a good attendance of the public. The hares were not running well. The slipper, Mr M. Dixon, and the judge, Mr T. C. Duncan, gave every satisfaction. FIRST ROUND D. Kinnell’s Wilgas Worry beat M. Cournane’s Gold Money, 5-1. .Wilgas Worry led by two lengths and got in to turn. Gold Money took the next turn, but Wilgas Worry got the kill. D. Kinnell’s White Worry beat J. Grindlay’s Glen Eagle, 5| to 5. White Worry led up for the first turn. White Worry took. the next turn and 1 two wrenches. Glen Eagle got a turn in and then White Worry took another turn. Glen Eagle took the next turn, but White Worry got a turn and killed, R. Hishon’s Souvenir beat C. Brazier’s Perfect Lady, 5-4. Souvenir led up for the first turn. Perfect Lady then got a turn and two wrenches and another two turns. Souvenir got a go by to drive the hare home. A. Prendeville’s College Boy beat J. Grindlay’s Young ‘Lochinvar, 3-0. College Boy led up by a fair margin for an easy three-point win. A. Smeaton’s Tap Dancer ran a good bye. SECOND ROUND Wilgas Worry lost to Souvenir, 2-2 J. Wilgas Worry led up by a length and turned. Souvenir turned and got a wrench and then another turn. Tap Dancer beat. White Worry, 2-0. Tap Dancer led up by two lengths to a straight-running hare. College Boy ran a good bye. SEMI-FINALS Tap Dancer beat College Boy, 4-1. Tap Dancer led up by two lengths and turned twice. Then College Boy got a turn. Tap Dancver took the last turn. Souvenir ran a good bye and worked well. FINAL Tap Dancer lost to Souvenir. Tap Dancer got first and second turns. Souvenir took one turn and a wrench. Tap Dancer turned, and Souvenir turned and wrenched. Tap Dancer turned, but' Souvenir got the kill of the other dog.
