STRATFORD MEETING RESULTS BIG DECREASE SHOWN IN BETTING (United Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, April 15. The weather, though threatening, was fine for the Stratford Racing Clubs autumn meeting today. The course was in splendid order and the attendance good. ATHLETICS RECORDS BROKEN AT SCHOOL SPORTS (United Press Association) ' AUCKLAND, April 16. ' Three records were broken and seven equalled at the annual Auckland intersecondary school sports meeting at Eden Park yesterday. The senior and intermediate championships were won by Auckland Grammar School, while for the first time since the inauguration of the carnival King’s College was successful in the junior championship. There was an attendance of about 4000. The new records are: 120 yards senior hurdles, R. E. Moore 12 2-ssec. 880yds intermediate relay, Auckland Grammar lmin 45sec. Junior high jump, R. H. Whitefield sft 2in.
