BRITISH AND FRENCH IMPORTS FROM U.S.A.
WASHINGTON, April 13.
Britain and France thus far this year have obtained export licences, under their rearmament programmes, totalling nearly £5,000,000, of which nearly £4,600,000 has been for military aeroplanes, aeroplane motors and accessories. Britain’s share is more than £2,600,000, of which £2,400,000 has been for aeroplanes. In the same period the Italian and German export licences totalled only £3OOO.
