Hairdressing a la Dauphine. In spite of energetic’ efforts the high hairdressing has not quite succeeded in becoming generally popular, undoubtedly owing to the unbecoming neckline. As a compromise the Dauphine hairdressing has been created with curls along the temples, giving the face a modern framing and a big curl down the neck kept together with a buckle.
