BUILDING ACTIVITY IN WANGANUI

PERMITS HIGHEST FOR DECADE (United Press Association) WANGANUI, April 13. Wanganui’s building permits for the last financial year totalled £191,000, which is. the highest for a decade. In the previous year the permits issued were worth £115,000. These figures mean that more building has been done during the last two years than in the previous seven years put together. Four blocks of Government houses and a new Post Office costing £85,000 are included in the total.
