OFFICERS OF LEANDER ENTERTAINED

(Received April 12, 11.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 12.

The officers of H.M.S. Leander were guests at a luncheon given by the New Zealand Club today. There was a good attendance of New Zealanders resident in Sydney and a number jf visiting New Zealanders. The guests were received by the organizer, Mrs Eleanor Hempton, and the president, Mr A. Halloran, who in a happy speech expressed his pleasure at being able to entertain officers of a visiting New Zealand cruiser.
