POLAND ALLEGES PERSECUTION
NAZI TREATMENT OF MINORITY
DIPLOMAT TO REPORT ON BERLIN TALKS (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Received April 12, 8.40 p.m.) ' LONDON, April 12. The so-called tension between the Polish and German minorities is being given fresh prominence by the Polish Press, says the Warsaw correspondent of The Times. It is alleged that Poles in Germany are being persecuted. The view that this is not merely the outcome of the zeal of local authorities is strengthened by the provocative behaviour of Germans in Poland.
The Polish Ambassador to Berlin (M. Lipski) has gone to Warsaw to report
on his conversations with the German Foreign Minister (Herr Joachim von Ribbentrop) last Thursday and Saturday. Rumours of German troop movements towards Poland are officially denied in Berlin.
