SCHEME ENTRUSTED TO MR J. W. MAWSON (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, April 1. The Minister of Internal Affairs (the Hon. W E. Parry) announced today that the preparation of the Hutt Valley development scheme had been entrusted to Mr J. W. Mawson, Government town-planning officer, in, co-operation with local authorities and the State departments concerned. The whole cost would be born by the Government.
