MAUNGANUI LEAVES MELBOURNE ARRIVAL AT BLUFF ON SUNDAY The Union Steam Ship Company has received advice that its liner Maunganui left Melbourne at 10 o'clock on Wednesday morning for Bluff, via Milford Sound. About 100 of her passengers will leave the

vessel at Bluff. She is due here at 12.30 p.m. on Sunday, and sails the next day for Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington.

The motor-vessel Ranui (Mr J. W. P. Thompson, master) arrived at Bluff yesterday from Stewart Island. She is to go on the Harbour Board slip today for her annual overhaul.

The Union Company’s intercolonial steamer Waikouaiti, having finished discharging at Bluff, sailed yesterday afternoon for Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. At her last port she will be laid up for survey. The Port Line, Ltd., London, has placed with Swan. Hunter and Wigham Richardson. Ltd., Wallsend-on-Tyne, an order for a refrigerated cargo motor-ship of 11,000 tons dw. She will be fitted with Swan Hunter-Doxford oil engines.
