INQUIRY FOR METAL SHARES ON INVERCARGILL EXCHANGE
A little better demand came for Government securities on the Invercargill Stock Exchange yesterday. Banks also had better inquiry, buyers offering £29 10/- for New South Wales, £1 18/4 for New Zealands and £2 6/- for National of New Zealands. Australian industrials showed little improvement. There was a little better market for metal companies’ shares.
