A big improvement in the condition of the water resulted after it had passed through these filters, which remove the oxide of iron from the water. Below: The erection of the water treatment plant. Work is still proceeding on the erection of the plant at the water works at the corner of Gala street and Elies road. When completed the building under construction will have three big filters.
