LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

The monthly meeting of the League of Mothers was held on Thursday, Mrs Edwards presiding over a good attendance. Mrs Green, transferred from the St. Clair branch, was given a welcome. Mrs Creasy sar.g two solos. Miss Fairweather, matron of the Borstal Institution, gave an interesting talk on the work and activities of that institution. The president in proposing a vote of thanks to the speaker, said members would be glad to give any assistance to her if she cared to call on them. Four new members were enrolled.
