SHAVIAN PLAY ANGERS MOSLEMS
“ST JOAN” DELETED FROM STUDIES CAIRO, March 13. As a result of members of the faculty striking on the grounds that Islam was insulted by Mr George Bernard Shaw’s “St Joan,” the work has been deleted from the programme of English studies. The students intend to burn copies of the play in public.
