“WEAKEST COMMUNISTS IN THE WORLD”
MOSCOW COMMENT ON BRITISH MEMBERS MOSCOW, March 12. The secretary of the Comintern (M. Mamuilsky) reported to the Communist Party Congress that the membership of the Comintern in the capitalist countries was 1,200,000, and that there were also 764,000 young communists. M. Mamuilsky added that the British Communist Party was the weakest in the world, in spite of a membership of 18,000 and increasing influence in trade union and labour circles.
