NAZI EMIGRATION SCHEME
EXILED JEWS TO PAY FOR DEPENDENTS VIENNESE CHILDREN ON WAY TO ENGLAND (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Received February 13, 7.50 p.m.) LONDON, February 12. The Times says that a German scheme for facilitating Jewish emigration, subject to the approval of the Evian Commission, allows between 150,000 and 200,000 Jewish wage earners to migrate to earn enough to finance the migration of their dependents and relations. Germany promises better treatment of the dependents of those too old to emigrate. Germany claims that lack of foreign exchange precludes the transfer of more Jewish property than at present but says that a trust fund may be created from Jewish property from which Jews will be allowed to draw proportionately. < Two hundred and fifty Jewish children from Vienna will leave Amsterdam for England tonight.
