OLD SCHOOL AT DIPTON

» To The Editor

Sir, —Will the Education Board or the Education Department state the reason for the delay in supplying a new school for this district? The present school is anything but healthy for the children, and I understand some have been taken away on account of its unhealthy condition. Why does the school committee not get the Inspector of Health to come and condemn the place as unfjt for habitation, as should be done in the interests of the children of the district? —Yours, etc.,

old co: February 8, 1939.

i [This letter was referred to tiie secretary of the Southland Education Board (Mr H. T. Thompson), who had no comment to make.]
