REFUSAL TO MAKE AWARD
ACTION OF ARBITRATION COURT
(United Press Association) WELLINGTON,, February 10. The unusual course of refusing to make an award was adopted by the Arbitration Court on the application by the Wellington grocers’ sundries, chemical and related trades’ factory employees for an award covering employees in 22 firms. The ground of refusal, given in a reserved judgment, was that the workers concerned were already covered by an existing award.
