MISS MARGARET COOPER HONOURED

A very pleasant evening was held recently' at the home of Mr and Mrs J. Cooper, Maxwellton, Merino Downs, when the Merino Downs Bible class entertained Miss Margaret Cooper. Mr A. McKenzie was master of ceremonies and the evening was spent in games and competitions. During the evening, Mr G. Swail, leader of the Bible class, presented Miss Cooper with a crystal jug and glasses, a salad bowl and a serviette ring. On behalf of the Girls’ Auxiliary, Mrs Milmine presented Miss Cooper with a book. Mr I. Irwin replied on behalf of Miss Cooper.
