ANNUAL SPORTS MEETING
MOKORETAREDAN SOCIETY GOOD PERFORMANCES IN FINE WEATHER The weathei- was ideal for the annual sports gathering of the MokoretaRedan Sports Society. There was a good attendance from all parts of the Lower Mataura Valley. The sports were held in a paddock belonging to Mr J. Camie and it made an ideal area. Competition throughout was very keen, and there were some fine finishes in the running events. The high jump attracted a great deal of interest. The scratch man cleared the bar at sft sin, but even this was not good enough to place him first.
