The Hon. Edmund Dwyer-Gray, Deputy-Premier of Tasmania and Treasurer to the Tasmanian Government,'will arrive at Bluff by the Maunganui from Wellington today.
The Hon. T. O’Byrne, M.L.C., returned from Stewart Island on Saturday. Mr N. S. Falla, chairman and managing director of the Union Steam Ship Company, Ltd., arrived in Invercargill on Saturday and visited the Eglinton Valley yesterday. He will return north today.
Mr C. J. Pugsley, New Zealand manager of the Southern Cross Assurance Co. Ltd., will arrive from Wellington by the Maunganui today.
Dr R. M. Campbell, economic adviser to the High Commissioner for New Zealand in London, will arrive at Auckland by the Monterey on February 17. He expects to be back in London by May. Mr A. M. Wilson, postmaster, will leave Bluff today to spend his annual leave in the north. In his absence, Mr J. Mitchell will act as postmaster. Mr W. Oswald, clerk of tjje Stewart Island County Council, returned by the Tamatea on Saturday after a visit to Invercargill. Mr P. J. McComish, of Invercargill, was a passenger by the Ranui for Port Pegasus on Saturday evening.
