SOUTH SCHOOL JUBILEE
To The Editor Sir, —At this stage I would like to make an appeal to all old.. pupils throughout Southland to set aside February 11,12 and 13 as days to be given in celebration of school remembrance. It is 60 years since the first pupils met for their initial lessons, and no doubt some of them will be in attendance during the celebrations. Many thousands have passed through the school since then and it will be a great pleasure to watch them all march past ■in their respective years when the parade of old pupils takes place. The committee has worked strenuously in its efforts to make the jubilee a success, but it now rests with the old pupils to rally round on these dates, and if they do, the jubilee will be an occasion to remember. Registration forms can be obtained from the secretary. I appeal again to all old pupils to reserve the dates above for South School jubilee.—Yours, etc.,
E. W. WRIGHT, President, South School Jubilee Committee. February 2, 1939.
