BAN ON SATIRE OF MUNICH

CANADIANS DELETE PARTS OF AMERICAN PLAY MONTREAL, January 25. After 50 policemen had quelled a demonstration against the American stage play “Pins and Needles” the civic censors ordered the deletion of scenes satirically depicting Mr Neville Chamberlain, Herr Hitler and Signor Mussolini at Munich. The Provincial Government has issued a warning that the play may be banned entirely should it cause more demonstrations.
