FIRE DESTROYS HOUSE AT WANGANUI

(United Press Association) WANGANUI, January 13. An eight-rooiried residence in Brassey road, St. John’s hill, owned by B. F. Corriganall, and the contents were totally destroyed by fire at 1.50 a.m. The brigade was quickly on the scene. A gale made it impossible to save the wooden building. The occupants left at midday yesterday on holiday. The insurance is unavailable.
