MEETING AT RUGBY PARK RAIN INTERFERES WITH PERFORMANCES Heavy rain, a strong wind and intense cold made good performances impossible at the athletic meeting held at Rugby Park last night by the Southland Amateur Athletic Association. The track was made greasy by the rain and as a result the times for the running events were slow. The weather affected the entries and some of the events had to be abandoned.
