PASTOR’S CAR STOLEN BY YOUNG MEN

(Received December 15, 7.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 15. Three young men who were given a lift in a car travelling to Newcastle yesterday attacked the driver, a Seventh Day Adventist, Pastor Thomas Anderson. iThey took control of his car, bound, gagged and robbed him, and threw him into a bush and drove off in the direction of Newcastle.

Pastor Anderson eventually freed himself and informed the police at Wyong, and the three men were arrested on the outskirts of Newcastle after a shot was fired at them.
