JAPANESE EXPORTS TO DOMINIONS
DECLINE OF 5 PER CENT. (Received December 2, 5.5 pm.) TOKYO, December 1. The trade returns from January to October reveal that the Japanese exports to New Zealand and Australia amounted to 80,000,000 yen. This shows a decline, compared with 1937, of 5 per cent., which is the smallest recorded, the next lowest decline being 30 per cent, to Europe and the greatest 54 per cent, to the Dutch East Indies.
