MILK DISTRIBUTION IN BRITAIN
ABANDONMENT OF PROPOSED MONOPOLIES

LONDON, November 30. Because of opposition throughout the country the Government is withdrawing the Milk Industry Bill, under which it was proposed to establish a milk comminion with very wide powers for distribution by monopolies in 10 large areas, involving the disappearance of small retailers. The Bill will be presented in a new form later.
