KEEN CONTESTS AT GIRLS’ SPORTS ST. CATHERINE’S ANNUAL . FIXTURE Keen contests were seen when the pupils of St. Catherine’s Girls School held their annual sports on Wednesday. The day was fine and sunny and there was a good attendance of parents and friends. The senior championship was won by M. Brown, who gained three firsts and a third, with 10 points. C. Cody who was placed in four of the six championship events, was second with eight points and A Drury third with seven points. W. Moynihan who won two events and was placed th three others, took the intermediate cup with 12 points, I. Robertson and J Dowling tieing for second place with six points each. Four firsts and a second gave M. Mullin the junior cup with 14 points, M. Munro gaining seven and M. Hannan three. Following are the results:—
