SUMMER SHOW AT GORE
SMALLER ENTRIES INCREASE IN NUMBER OF SHEEP The total number of entries for the Gore Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s annual show next week, 1011, shows a decrease of 155, compared with the figures for last year. The 1936 total was 1054. Details are as follows:— SHEEP
GRAND TOTALS 1011 1166 BUILDING PERMITS Three building permits valued at £2249 were taken out at Gore during the month of November, compared with nine permits, valued at £3045, for the same month last year. For the eight months of the borough’s present financial year permit's to the value of £23, - 364 have been issued compared with £33,459 for the same period last year, £42,000 in 1936, £32,005 in 1935 and £16,334 in 1934.
