TODAY’S RECIPE
PLAIN WAFFLES 2 cups (8 ounces) flour. 1 teaspoon salt. 4 teaspoons baking powder. 4 tablespoons sugar. 2 egs. 1| cups milk. . . 4 tablespoons melted butter. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Beat eggs, add milk and melted butter. Pour liquid into hole in centre of dry ingredients. Stir in ever-widening circles. For pineapple waffles add to above mixture a quarter teaspoon vanilla and one cup crushed, well-drained pineapple. Serve with whipped cream and pineapple chunks. SARAH;
