Pirow), during his visit to Berlin,. raised the colonial question in general terms but received no encouragement from ms host to develop his views, which do not harmonize with Herr Hitler s It is officially stated in Berlin that Herr Hitler and the German Foreign Minister (Herr Joachim von Ribbentrop) informed Mr Pirow that the col-
onial problem was at present of no immediate consequence, “provided the Powers recognize the justification of Germany’s plans and her ability to administer properly.” The Rome correspondent of The Daily Telegraph says that Mr Pirow has arrived.
