RANGITATA EARLIER NOW EXPECTED SATURDAY From London, via northern ports, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitata is now expected to reach Bluff on Saturday. The vessel, which is completing discharge of her Home cargo at Port Chalmers, will load Homeward at Bluff and will sail, on completion at this port, for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The Rangitata is scheduled to leave the last-named port on December 16 for London, via the Panama Canal. The Union Company’s coastal trader Waipahi finished discharging and loading yesterday and sailed last night for Dunedin. The Union Company’s motor-vessel Waiana reached Bluff yesterday afternoon with sugar and general cargo from Dunedin. It is expected to despatch her tomorrow for Wellington . , , . From Hobart the Union Company’s intercolonial freighter Karetu is expected to reach Bluff tomorrow She will sail probably the same day to continue discharge of her Australian cargo at Dimedin. The Karetu has transhipments ex the following vessels:—Nankin, Neptuna. Titania, Strathmore, Strathallan, Esquilino, Yae Maru, Changte. Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that its chartered tanker Thorshov left Sumatra last Thursday with bulk fuel oil for Wellington. She is due there on December 6. The Shaw, Savill Company has received cabled advice that its liner Tamaroa reached Southampton last Thursday morning. She left Auckland on October 14 for Southampton and London, via the Panama Canal. Cabled advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill Company that the Maimoa left London on November 16 for Australia. After discharge there she will load Homeward in New Zealand during January-February. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that the A. and A. Line steamer City of Dieppe will leave New York on January 8 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She will be followed by the City of Brisbane on February 22 for the same ports.
