WINTON SUB-BRANCH MEETS At the monthly meeting of the Winton sub-branch of the Plunket Society, Mrs W. H. King presided over Mesdames J. Henderson, H. Anderson, J. T. Hubber, A. Hamilton, C. McDonald, H. McDonald, C. R. Shand, R. Swale, G. Wadworth, Miss N. King and the secretary, Miss I. G. Russell. Apologies were received from Mesdames T. N. Mitchell, T. E. Patterson, G. Rouse and T. S. Smith. The supplementary list of remits for the annual conference was received and read. r Miss N. King gave a report on the business transacted at the last executive meeting held at Lumsden. The president' thanked members for their attendance during the year, the meeting being the last for .1938, and extended good wishes for Christmas and the New Year. Mrs G. Wadworth voiced the good wishes of the members to the president and secretary.
