Mrs J. Grant, Bayswater,’has returned from a holiday in the north. Mr and Mrs I. V. Wilson have return:ed from a trip to Milford Sound. Mrs J. B. Grant and Mrs A. N. Pointon, Nightcaps, are spending a holiday in Dunedin. Mr and Mrs Rattray Fraser left yesterday for Auckland to join the Niagara for a trip abroad. Miss Wanda Rowley has returned to town from a visit to her parents, Mr and Mrs A. Rowley, Clifden House. Miss A. Klemick, of Sydney, and Miss P. Klemick, of Wellington, who have been the guests of Mrs P. Klemick, Nightcaps, have left for the north. Visitors to Nightcaps for the HutsonRolland wedding included Mr and Mrs A. Pilling, Mrs J. Clements, Miss G. Clements (Kaitangata), Mr G. Currie (Dunedin); Mr and Mrs J. G. Chalmers, Miss H. McGhee (Gore) ; Miss G. Raynes, Mr R. Raynes, Mr and Mrs Hutson and family, Mrs McClure and Mrs Kimble (Invercargill). The celebrations in connection with the jubilee of Lodge Mokoreta No. 63, were concluded on a recent evening when a jubilee ball was held in the Masonic Social Hall, Wyndham. The function was largely attended, and a happy time was spent Messrs J. C.

Fraser and R. McKay were masters of ceremonies and an extra was played by Mr J. Halliday, jun. Pianoforte solos were played by Mrs F. Ball, and songs were sung by Mr D. Macpherson. On behalf of' the lodge, Mr F. Ball welcomed the guests.
