Preserve hoods from sun by rubbing them every day with a cloth soaked in olive oil. spoonful butter in a saucepan, add two tablespoonsful of flour, mix, then add the asparagus and puree, gradually, when smooth, return to the Are and stir until it boils. Simmer five minutes. Season to taste and pour over the asparagus tips. Party Cake.
Half-pound butter, Jib. sugar, 4 eggs, 3 tablespoons sherry, lOoz. self-raising flour, Jib. mixed fruit, vanilla, almond icing, butter, cream. Cream butter and sugar.
