GAINS IN BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS NEW YORK, November 10. America’s political line-up has undergone a remarkable change after the elections, which brought the Republican Party definitely back into the picture. ' The almost complete returns show that the Republicans gained 78 seats in the House of Representatives, eight in the Senate, and 11 governorships. These results far exceeded expectations.
