RUSSIAN GENERAL WORKS AS EXTRA
Living in Hollywood at present is General Vyacheslav Savitsky, former commander of Ukranian Cossacks and a White general during the revolution. He was for 25 years an Imperial Court officer, and was a member of the famous Peace Conference in Paris. But those are past glories of the general. He now works as an extra in films for 11 dollars a day—when he can get it. The 6ft 4in Russian can be seen in “Escape From Yesterday.”
