NEEDLECRAFT SERVICE

MODERN SAMPLER Two patterns (1501 and 1711) which were published some time ago proved so popular that supplies were exhausted. Owing to popular demand these are to be released again, one today and one on Saturday and ample supplies are now available. Full instructions for embroidering this sampler (with illustrations of it and all stitches used), and particulars of material requirements will be sent to readers who write to The Southland Times Needlecrafts, P.O. Box 30, Invercargill, and enclose 1/1 in stamps. Please write plainly, printing your name and address in capital letters and stating the number of the pattern (1711). The instructions are accurate, complete and easy to understand.

SAMPLER PATTERN 1711 This modern sampler, quickly done in simple stitches, is decorative and attractive. The pattern contains a transfer pattern of a sampler 12 x 14 J inches, and a colour chart and key.
