JOCKEY ADMITTED TO PROBATION

FOUND GUILTY OF THEFT (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 21. Michael Stewart, a licensed jockey, aged 23, was admitted to two years’ probation by Mr Justice Callan in the Supreme Court, having been found guilty of theft earlier in the session. In sentencing Stewart fee judge said he thought it proper in the circumstances to admit prisoner to probation.
