Advice has been received in Auckland that Tommy Jones, the negro wel-ter-weight, will visit Auckland, says The New Zealand Herald. Jones, who hails from America, has just completed a most successful tour of Australia, and he wishes to meet any opponent in New Zealand. During his stay in Australia he had victories over such famous fighters as Dick Humphries, Jack McNamee, Smarty Simmins, Blue Jones and many others, including Ron Richards, who had three victories over Leo Kelly. Jones went to Australia in the same team as Johnny Foster.
