BOMBER DISAPPEARS IN STORM THREE KILLED IN CRASH INTO MOUNTAIN (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright) (Received October 7, 8.5 p.m.) 1 LONDON, October 7. Though the crews, numbering five in each aircraft, parachuted to safety when a magnetic storm caused two Royal Air Force bombing aeroplanes to crash, a third, with five men aboard, disappeared off Dungeness. The first aeroplane caught fire when over the sea and crashed near Rye; the second crashed at Pontefract. During night flying a Royal Air Force aeroplane crashed into the side of Mount Plynlimmon, the three occupants being killed. They were found amid the burning wreckage.
