OBITUARY

MR E. J. CRISP . (United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, September 9. The death has occurred of Mr Edmund James Crisp, aged 75, son of Captain Thomas Crisp. He was born at Auckland and after a brief seafaring career entered the legal profession at Gisborne, qualifying in 1884, since when he had been in continuous practice. He is survived by his widow, three sons and five daughters.
