As a result of tests carried out in Great Britain, it has been demonstrated that the dairy-type cow will produce as good a vealer calf as will the beeftype animal. The extra supply of milk produced by the dairy-type cow provides extra nourishment which the calf is able to utilize in the formation of frame, flesh and fat.
