DAUGHTER BORN TO AIRMAN’S WIDOW

The wife of Flight Lieutenant W. F. Pharazyn, the New Zealand pilot who was killed when his aeroplane crashed during a formation flight on June 30, gave birth to a daughter today.

Flight Lieutenant Pharazyn, a New Zealander who was formerly captain of the Cambridge University golf team, crashed and was killed while on a formation flight in Yorkshire on June 30. It is believed that two aeroplanes touched wings.
